I love to eat and I love to observe. I started this site because I got tired of keeping track of the places I'd been to and the things I ate. Sending a weekly spreadsheet to your friends is only so glamorous and trying to re-paint the scene when your friends ask for recommendations only go so far. Pictures, on the other hand, are really worth a thousand words. And the words you conjure up in your mind from these pictures are probably much more interesting than the words I conjure up and put down.

At the end of the day, these are just my musings. My palate is just that, my own. The fact that I love Taco Bell as well as French Laundry suggests that:

a. I have a wide ranging palate
b. I have no palate

Everyone has their own relationship with food. This site represents mine. Thanks for coming along on the ride.
